We have identified sets of Arabidopsis genes that are lacking functional annotation data in TAIR. 

There are four files

  1. Protein coding loci unknown for all  3 GO aspects (molecular function, biological process, cellular component)
  2. Protein coding loci with unknown biological process AND unknown molecular function (may or may not have component annotations)
  3. Protein coding loci with unknown molecular function
  4. Protein coding loci with unknown biological process

If you have information about the function(s) for any of these genes you can submit data (e.g. GO annotations, phenotypes) directly to TAIR
